There may be more ways a therapist can help you with your pelvic floor issues by focusing on external factors of the body. The best way to know what is best for you is to speak to your therapist about concerns you may have. Your therapist should work with you on what is needed and what you are comfortable with. If you're nervous, let your therapist know. A good pelvic floor therapist will explain all the treatments and also provide you with the knowledge of what treatment will benefit you, but at the same time will also respect your wishes.
